Campus Housing

About Campus Housing:
- Housing is guaranteed for all new full-time students.
- Both Graduate and Undergraduate housing facilities are available.
- Free Academy shuttle service is provided to take you close to all campus locations.
- All facilities have Wi-Fi for high-speed, free Internet access.
- All accommodations come furnished.
- All campus housing buildings are located in prime areas of San Francisco, with most facilities
located downtown close to campus academic buildings.
- Unit type and roommate preferences are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.
(Availability of singles is limited.)
- On-campus dining facilities and meal plans are available.
- Some amenities of campus housing include: a fully equipped student gym, swimming pool, and
recreational areas in most buildings with big-screen TV's, pool tables, video game consoles, and so
much more. Basic amenities such as utilities and laundry rooms are also provided.

When to Apply for Campus Housing:
Housing is guaranteed to all full-time students. However, building and room preferences are
awarded on a first- come, first- served basis. We encourage you to submit your housing application
as soon as possible, but no more than 12 months in advance of your anticipated arrival to
campus.

Campus Housing Costs*
College Applicants (AA / BFA / MFA):
The Student License Agreement is for the entire academic year (Fall and Spring). Housing costs
are by semester only. Prices may range from $3600 for a shared residence hall room to
$7100 for a private studio apartment in the Fall or Spring semester, and from $2100 for
a shared residence hall room to $3600 for a private studio apartment in the Summer semester.
Utility costs (electric, water, gas, trash and heat) are included in the housing costs. Please note
that building/residence hall availability is limited in the Summer semester

Campus housing is available at a special low cost for students attending the Pre-College Summer
Art Experience. A $500 security deposit is required from all students and due with the Housing
License Agreement. A minimum building maintenance fee of $75 will be automatically deducted from
the security deposit upon check-out.
Rate Costs
Option A: Summer Art Experience Special Housing Package*
6.5 Weeks - $2,550
Summer Art Experience housing is available for the full 6.5 weeks of the program at a cost of
$2,550. Students who wish to live in Campus Housing will be required to take four classes.
Option B: Summer Art Experience Daily Rate*
$60 per Night
Summer Art Experience housing is also available at a daily rate of $60 per night. This option is
convenient for students who stay in San Francisco for the two days of classes then return home for
the remainder of the week. A maximum of three nights per week applies for the daily rate.
Nights booked and paid for which are not used are non-refundable and
non-transferable.
* Both options include three meals per day, Monday through Friday, and brunch and dinner on
Saturday and Sunday at the Café Rodin or the I-House Diner.
