Campus Housing

About Campus Housing:
- Housing is guaranteed for all full-time students.
- Both Graduate and Undergraduate housing facilities are available.
- Free Academy shuttle service is provided to take you to all campus locations.
- All facilities are wireless-connected and have high-speed, free Internet access.
- Furnished or unfurnished accommodations are available.
- All campus housing buildings are located in prime areas of San Francisco, with most facilities
located downtown close to campus academic buildings.
- Singles, Doubles, and Multiple Roommate accommodations are available on a first-come,
first-serve basis.
- On-campus dining facilities and meal plans are available.
- Some amenities of campus housing include: a fully equipped student gym, swimming pool, and
recreational areas in most buildings with big-screen TV's, pool tables, video game consoles, and so
much more. Basic amenities such as utilities and laundry rooms are also provided.

When to Apply for Campus Housing:
Housing is guaranteed to all full-time students. However, building and room preferences are
awarded on a first- come, first- served basis. We encourage you to submit your housing application
as soon as possible.

Campus Housing Costs*
College Applicants (AA / BFA / MFA):
The Student License Agreement is for the entire academic year (Fall and Spring). Housing costs
are by semester only. Prices may range from $3400 for a shared dormitory room to $5500 for a
private studio apartment in the Fall or Spring semester, and from $1750 for a shared dormitory room
to $2800 for a private studio apartment in the Summer semester. Utility costs (electric, water,
heat) are included in the housing costs. Please note that building/dormitory availability is
limited in the Summer semester.

Campus housing is available at a special low cost for students attending the Pre-College Summer
Art Experience. A $500 security deposit is required from all students and due with the Housing
License Agreement. A minimum building maintenance fee of $75 will be automatically deducted from
the security deposit upon check-out.
Rate Costs
Option A: Summer Art Experience Special Housing Package*
6.5 Weeks - $2,500
Summer Art Experience housing is available for the full 6.5 weeks of the program at a cost of
$2,500. Students taking four classes will be required to live on campus Housing.
Option B: Summer Art Experience Daily Rate*
$60 per Night
Summer Art Experience housing is also available at a daily rate of $60 per night. This option is
convenient for students who stay in San Francisco for the two days of classes then return home for
the remainder of the week. A maximum of three nights per week applies for the daily rate.
Nights booked and paid for which are not used are non-refundable and
non-transferable.
* Both options include three meals per day, Monday through Friday, and brunch and dinner on
Saturday and Sunday at the Café Rodin or the I-House Diner.
