VA Yellow Ribbon Program

School volunteers to share with VA the cost of tuition and fees that exceeds the tuition benefit cap. VA will match dollar for dollar any contribution that is made
Academy of Art University will absorb 50 percent, the maximum
Academy of Art University will provide Yellow Ribbon Program contributions for a limited number of students each academic year
Example:
- Tuition (12 units x 740) = $8,880
- VA pays (12 units x 254) = $3,048
- Gap ($8,888 – $3,048) = $5,832
- $5832 ÷ 2 = $2,916, VA sends another payment, Academy of Art University absorbs
- Course fees: VA will pay up to $6586.54 per term
