Sarupa Sidaarth’s early exposure to brilliant colors and rich textures in India and in European museums has been a powerful influence towards her unique aesthetic. This series is inspired by the overwhelmingly beautiful and complex visual drama of the processes of life. The multiple award winner has participated in various international solo, group and juried exhibitions in India, France and the United States. Her recent achievements include a fellowship to France in 2011 and an invitation to ‘The Emerging Artist Series’ at Atelier earlier this year.
