Mano was born and lives in Tucson, Arizona. Sotelo earned a BFA degree from Otis Art Institute Parsons School of Design, an MFA degree from Academy of Art University and an MA in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Sotelo’s paintings have been exhibited in local and national juried and invitational shows, a variety of Tucson galleries, the Tucson Museum of Art, University of Arizona Museum of Art, the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum and the Tucson Pima Arts Council. He has over 12 years of higher education teaching experience. He has taught courses at Southwest University of Visual Arts (SUVA), Artist Network University (online), Pima College, and The Drawing Studio. Appointed by the Tucson City Manager, Sotelo is a former member of the Tucson Public Art and Community Design Committee.
