Campus Housing

Housing Application

Housing is guaranteed to all new, full-time, onsite students. All housing applications are processed online. You will be responsible for making your $500 deposit at time of submitting your application. Your application is not complete until the $500 deposit has been submitted.

In order to be eligible for housing, you must fulfill the following requirements:

  1. Be enrolled as a full-time student (12 units for the Fall/Spring and 6 units for the Summer for undergraduates; 9 units for the Fall/Spring and 6 units for the Summer for graduate students). The Academy of Art University does not provide housing to part time students.
  2. Must have current, up-to-date Health Insurance that covers medical needs (both expected and unexpected) in California

New Applicants must fill out the housing application online. Once you submit your housing application and make the $500 deposit payment online, you will receive a payment confirmation email within 48 hours.

Please note: The Academy of Art University only provides housing for the full academic year (i.e. fall & spring semesters) or for one semester if applying for spring or summer housing.
