Application Process

Thank you for your interest in campus housing at Academy of Art University. Housing is guaranteed to all new students and continuing students who are new to campus housing.

At this time, all housing applications are processed online. In order to be eligible for housing, you must fulfill the following requirements:

• Be enrolled as a full-time student (12 units)
• Fill out the housing application form online
• Self-Assignment Dates
• Summer 2013
  • Self-Assignment OPENS on April 15
    • Under 21 students start at 10am PST
    • Over 21 students start at 12pm PST
  • Self-Assignment CLOSES on April 22, 2013 at 5:00pm PST
• Fall 2013-Spring 2014
  • Self-Assignment OPENS on May 6, 2013
    • Under 21 students start at 10am PST
    • Over 21 students start at 12pm PST
  • Self-Assignment CLOSES on July 31, 2013 at 5:00pm PST
    • *Housing and Residence Life reserves the right to close Self-Assignment and begin manual assignments before July 31, 2013, if needed.
• Electronically sign the Housing License Agreement online
• Pay $500 deposit online at time of application
• Must have health insurance (all housing students are required to have health insurance)
