Campus Housing

Application Process

Thank you for your interest in campus housing at Academy of Art University. Housing is guaranteed to all new students and continuing students who are new to campus housing.

At this time, all housing applications are processed online. In order to be eligible for housing, you must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Be enrolled as a full-time student (12 units in Fall/Spring and 6 units for Summer)
  • Fill out the housing application form online
  • Electronically sign the Housing License Agreement online
  • Pay $500 deposit online
  • Must have health insurance (all housing students are required to have health insurance)

After a 48-72 hour clearance period, you will be emailed a designated window to self-select your room online.

SPRING 2012 [NEW APPLICANTS]

Once you submit your housing application and make the $500 deposit payment online, you will receive a payment confirmation email within 48 hours. You cannot complete General Room Selection (GRS) at this time.

Self-Assignment information (including specific time frames) for Spring 2012 GRS will be emailed to all applicants by the last week of November.
