First Year Experience

This community is committed to fostering student success in the areas of academic excellence and student relationships through innovative creative student programs. Students in this community will engage in themes surrounding ideas of community, identity, and personal development. The lifestyle and demographic of students in the first year experience are those who are beginning their college career for the first time. All students living in this community are required to have a meal plan. First year experience residence halls are just a few blocks away from Union Square, and Chinatown.
