The Vermeer Apartments at 736 Jones are housed in a handsome and quiet building perched on one of San Francisco's famed hills. Restaurants and galleries surround the area. It is located within walking distance of other Academy campus buildings, Union Square, and Chinatown.

The building has a study room and computer kiosks available for student use. The recreation room offers video game equipment and cable television. Programs and activities are geared towards a co-ed community of twenty-one years or older. The apartments have fully functional kitchens and students are responsible for bringing their own pots, pans, and dishes.
