Leandro Ng is an Illustrator, Concept Artist and Instructor with years of experience. He has worked for companies such as Gap, Hasbro, Levi Strauss, Sony, Synergy, The World Bank, Viz Media, and others. He’s also the co-author of the book "Creative Layout — Perspective for Artists", published by Pearson. Most recently, he worked on a graphic novel series entitled "One World Manga" which will be distributed in several countries.
Leandro received his BFA in Illustration from Academy of Art University. Ng is accomplished in both Traditional and Digital Media. He regularly attends the San Diego ComiCon and San Francisco Wondercon conferences. He is an active member of both groups. Leandro is currently Director of the Foundations Department at Academy of Art University.
Kris Komsthoeft has worked in the Graphic Arts field for over 16 years in the Silicon Valley. She has managed graphic departments for eight years for companies including Atari. As sole proprietor of her graphics business, she creates collateral literature as well as many graphic illustrations for a number of electronics companies, notably Apple Computer.
She is also an active landscape painter, both Plein air and in her studio, when not teaching.
Kris has two BFA degrees in Art; the first from University of California, Santa Cruz in Fine Art, and the second more recent degree from the Academy of Art University in Illustration. She has been teaching at the Academy of Art University for twelve years.
