Pre-College Program Online
 

The online Pre-College Program gives current high school students from around the world the opportunity to explore their interests in art & design in a fun, interactive learning environment. High school students can choose from a variety of online classes based on the many undergraduate degrees offered here at Academy of Art University. Discussions, lectures, and assignments can all be reviewed online whenever and wherever it is convenient for the student. Check the Online Course Schedule to see which courses are being offered next semester.

Pre-College Program Details

  • Open to all students currently enrolled in high school.
  • Designed to accommodate students from all educational and artistic backgrounds.
  • All classes are tuition-free. Students are responsible for the program processing fee and cost of required supplies/materials.
  • Students can take up to two classes in the fall and spring and up to four classes in the summer.
  • A non-refundable/non-transferable $235 processing fee is required for the fall or spring semester and a $525 processing fee is required for the summer semester.
  • Students will earn one unit Academy of Art University college credit for each class successfully completed and may be eligible for an application fee waiver (max 6 units of transferable credit). Click here for additional program details.
