School of Industrial Design
The School of Industrial Design maintains constant alignment with the requirements of the industry and the future needs of people. The Industrial Design degree program anticipates new and emerging trends while instructing students in social, cultural, technological and demographic considerations they must integrate in their design solutions.
Foundational industrial design courses focus on sketching, graphic layout, computer drawing, model making, verbal communication and presentation. As students progress through the industrial design degree program, they combine these skills with in-depth research, aesthetic sensitivity and technical knowledge to design toys, tools or vehicles that make life easier, better and more sustainable for the user.
