Academy Supports Local Business Women
Academy of Art University sponsored Immaculate Conception Academy’s 2nd Annual Women’s Business Luncheon, hosted over 85 businesses to hear from Betsy Rafael, executive at a major Silicon Valley technology company. The purpose of this Academy of Art University sponsored event was to honor professional business women in the Bay Area who serve as role models for the students of ICA and women everywhere. In front of a sold-out crowd, an honored guest Betsy Rafael emphasized “treating others the way you would like to be treated,” as well as highlighting “the importance of diversity in the workplace to access a broader set of viewpoints.”
