Famous Biographer Honored by Academy of Art University

Donald Spoto was recently honored by Academy of Art University’s Schools of Acting and Motion Pictures & Television for his work chronicling classic Hollywood. Prior to receiving his honorary doctorate from Academy of Art University, the famous biographer held two discussions: one on the topic of “Women in Film: Then and Now” and the other on Alfred Hitchcock.  “I feel deeply honored by this,” Spoto said. Spoto wrote 27 books on celebrities such as Grace Kelly, Ingrid Bergman, Audrey Hepburn and Alfred Hitchcock, most of whom he knew personally. “I feel blessed. I met some of the most deeply talented, creative people in the world,” said Spoto.
