Go-Jek for Jakarta
Time Magazine online currently features a video story on Go-Jek, an up-and-coming motorcycle taxi service created by Academy of Art University alumni Michaelangelo Moran. The Academy’s Web Design & New Media alumni knows first-hand how horrific the traffic jams for four wheeled vehicles can be in Jakarta, Indonesia. OJeks, or motorcycles, on the other-hand can maneuver through traffic in half the time. Using this idea, the Academy of Art University alumni centralized the motorcycle taxi service to be more accessible to the residents of Jakarta.
