“Sea Fashion Change” Design Challenge

Academy of Art University’s School of Industrial Design and School of Fashion students worked in collaboration with Monterey Bay Aquarium to create unique designs using recycled materials. The top 10 compelling design pieces picked by Monterey Bay Aquarium are featured in SF Gate, where the public can vote on their favorite piece of work. The resulting installation, “Sea Fashion Challenge,” is also currently on display at the Academy of Art University in the Atelier gallery, located on 79 New Montgomery Street. Prizes will be awarded to the winning student design.
