National Sculpture Society Award Goes to SF’s Letterman Digital Arts Center

San Francisco’s Letterman Digital Arts Center, which features works by Lawrence Noble, sculpture chair of the School of Fine Art at the Academy of Art University, will be awarded the Henry Hering Memorial Medal for Art and Architecture in 2014. The award was announced January 6 by the National Sculpture Society in New York City.

Two students from the Academy of Art University’s School of Industrial Design are recipients of prestigious Pebble Beach Phil Hill Scholarships, announced at the 2013 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The scholarships will go to Jack Liu and Omead Dorandish; both will receive BFAs from the Academy in May 2014 with a concentration in transportation design.
