Peter Shaplen is a producer, field director, writer, and media/crisis communicator. He has worked for ABC, CBS, CNBC, NBC, SKY News as a foreign correspondent and producer domestically for ABC World News TonightNightline20/20 and Good Morning America. He has been Pool Producer for high profile trials including Michael Jackson, OJ Simpson and Scott Peterson. His hundreds of corporate clients include Cisco, HP, Astra Zeneca, Hitachi Data Systems, Levi Strauss and that work has appeared on PBS, more than 800 stations nationwide and on Broadway.

A media and crisis communicator, he consults on criminal, civil and class action lawsuits and for companies facing consumer crises. Shaplen’s many national honors include special recognition from the Radio & Television News Directors and an Associated Press Mark Twain award. Shaplen graduated cum laude from Tufts University with a BA degree in Urban Studies. He is also on the faculty of the EW Scripps School of Journalism in Ohio.
