Nicole Lamothe is an artist and educator. She is a 2012 graduate from Academy of Art University. Lamothe's current work was inspired by the pages of a natural history encyclopedia. This series is an on-going project aimed at documenting objects that are used daily. Each object is a snapshot or portrait of modern life, a glimpse into the life and personality of the owner and a representation of modern human culture. Lamothe 's recent exhibit, at the John Crawford Gallery in Apollo Beach, Florida, earned her the position of Art Instructor with the Tampa/Hillsborough County Public Library system. Concurrently, she is a virtual instructor, teaching high school art in the Orange County Public School System in Florida. Nicole's work has been exhibited throughout New England and Florida.
