Fashion Merchandising is the business side of Fashion. It includes all functions necessary to run a successful operation that develops, promotes and sells fashion products. Through hands-on Fashion Merchandising classes in buying, product line development, marketing, promotion and retailing, students develop the techniques and unique personal style necessary for a successful career in Merchandising.

Taught by professional merchandisers recognized in the field of fashion, our courses take a hands-on approach to teach students to:

  • Research and analyze trends to develop innovative fashion products
  • Source, edit, and select the appropriate product for a target customer
  • Develop visual, verbal, and written presentation skills
  • Conduct a fashion business analysis and create an effective business plan that includes a sales assortment plan, financial plan, and marketing plan
