What is the Summer Pre-College Art Experience?

  • A six-week intensive program offering up to four classes either online or in San Francisco
  • Get a glimpse into college life, meet other young artists and explore a variety of art & design fields
  • Students must be entering high school as a sophomore, junior or senior year in the fall

Note: Students staying in campus housing must take four on-campus classes (only available in summer). Additional fees apply.

 

Requirements

  • Students must be currently enrolled in High School. High School seniors graduating in 2016 are not eligible for the Summer 2016 Pre-College Art Experience program but are welcome to apply to undergraduate programs.
  • While international High School students cannot take onsite classes, we welcome them to participate in our online Pre-College Art Experience.

Summer Pre-College Art Experience Housing

Students must be at least 16 years old to be eligible for housing during the summer program, but 15-year-olds interested in campus housing may submit two Letters of Reference from a school teacher and from an employer or a non-profit organization where the high school student has done volunteer work.
