Academy of Art University welcomes homeschooled students. Applying is easy!

1. Just complete an Academy of Art University application.
  • Download an application here
  • Or apply by calling 800-544-2787 or 415-274-2219, or contact us online
  • Application forms are also available in our Catalog. You may request a catalog with our online inquiry.
2. Follow the instructions below to send in the completed application form and the $100 application fee (non-refundable).
  • Mail the completed application form and $100 application fee to:

    San Francisco, CA 94119-3844
  • Fax the completed application form to (415) 618-6287. Then mail the application fee to the address above.
  • Submit your application online and pay by credit card. 

Undergraduate Admissions Requirements for Homeschooled Students

The Academy of Art University maintains a no-barrier admissions policy for all undergraduate programs. The Academy requires all homeschooled students in degree-seeking programs to submit:
  • Signed Home School Program Certification form
  • Official transcripts
