Credit for Previous College Coursework
If you have completed previous college-level coursework, we welcome you to submit your official
transcripts for review for possible credit. Don’t know if you are eligible for transfer credit?
Just review our four simple questions below. If you answer "yes" to all these questions, you are
eligible for transfer review. It’s that easy!
- Have you completed an application to the Academy of Art University?
- Have you successfully completed college-level courses with a grade of "C" or above?
- Were your college-level courses worth 3 or more credits?
- Do you have, or can you request, official college/university transcripts of these courses in a
sealed envelope?
Transfer Guides are subject to change at the discretion of the Academy of Art University. We
reserve the right to make updates/changes at any time. Students will be held to the catalog
requirements and or the curriculum in effect during their first semester of matriculation at the
Academy of Art University.
