Rudy Servande brings to Academy of Art University a wealth of knowledge from a variety of industries encompassing Point of Purchase displays, tradeshow exhibits, furniture, medical production machines, consumer electronics, and automotive accessories. He has worked at IDEO, Frog Design, Google, Papyrus, and Apple. He enjoys being involved in the design process from proof of concept to the final build. Rudy has designed and fabricated custom automotive accessories sold worldwide since 2000. When he’s not designing, fabricating, or teaching you may find him windsurfing at the Berkeley marina or kayak fishing off Half Moon Bay. Rudy received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design degree from San Jose State University.
