Director of Jewelry & Metal Arts
As a digital jewelry designer, you’ll create unique and inspired designs using C&C machines, milling, 3D modeling, and laser cutting for use with modern jewelry production techniques.
Teach students in the uses of technology for modern jewelry production techniques as a jewelry instructor. You will instruct the next generation of designers in the latest aesthetic and technical techniques used by industry leading jewelry designers.
As a technical jewelry designer, you’ll assist the design team in creating drawings and digital files for use on the laser cutter. Plan, iterate, and create maquettes for rapid prototyping in this exciting career path.
Create jewelry designs using software for 3D printing as a 3D jewelry designer. Realize designs using print wax and plastic models, and work with production teams to ensure manufacturing consistency in this dynamic career path.
