On Tuesday, July 6th, 2021, at 7pm PST, Academy of Art University School of Fashion Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, and Fashion Product Development invite you to join a free online workshop.

At this event attendees will get to meet students and alumni and get a glimpse into their respective journeys navigating and pursuing careers in the world of Fashion Business. Attendees will also learn how fashion products are created, merchandized, and marketed. This event is hosted by Jinah Oh, the Fashion School’s Director of Merchandising, and Andrea Skillings, Fashion Product Development Program Coordinator.

Jinah Oh - Fashion Merchandising DirectorJinah Oh
Director, School of Fashion Merchandising

Jinah Oh earned her M.B.A. in Marketing at Golden Gate University in San Francisco, as well as a B.S. in Clothing and Textiles and a B.A. in Philosophy from EWHA Women’s University in Seoul, Korea. She has extensive experience in international fashion and luxury brands. With Escada Asia, she developed business and market strategies, managed merchandising and buying for multiple brands, pioneered and initiated brick and mortar and e-commerce channel development. Later with Cartier, Richemont Korea Ltd., she oversaw retail operations and all aspects of retail marketing activities for the Korean market.

Alyssa Hyunji Lee

Alyssa Hyunji Lee is a graduate of Academy of Art University with a BFA Fashion Merchandising degree. She is always customer-curious, speaks with candor and creates products with audacity. Her current role as Product developer at Old Navy men’s team has allowed her to implement & practice sustainable sourcing strategies as well as with her team, she’s also worked on developing ‘gender neutral’ products for everyone to enjoy. She hopes to continue to learn more and ‘do the right thing’ for the people and planet.

Angelica CarranzaAngelica Carranza

Angelica Carranza is a graduate of Academy of Art University, having earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Fashion Product Development. She specializes in designing digital garments with the Clo3D software, creating technical flats and packs through PLM, as well as designing a collection from start to finish utilizing research, sourcing, and creative skills. Angelica hopes to help the world become more sustainable through technology and creative thinking with her own business strategies.
