Superstar Character Designer and Illustrator Carter Goodrich joins the Academy of Art University on behalf of the Visual Development Department to discuss his incredible career in the entertainment industry which has included design work for the feature animated films Sinbad, Monsters Inc., Finding Nemo, Ratatouille, Brave, Open Season, Hotel Transylvania, The Croods, Coco, Despicable Me, and many more. His work in animation has been recognized with six ASIFA Annie Award nominations for character design work, and two Annie Award wins for Ratatouille and The Croods. Carter’s work in the field of illustration is equally impressive with over 21 “New Yorker” covers and multiple children’s books for Simon & Schuster publications.
