On Tuesday, July 20 at 7pm PDT, Academy of Art University School of Fine Art invites you to a free interactive art and design workshop entitled, “Tips from the Top: Sculpting a Successful Career as a Sculptor” with Steven Krochman, Director of Sculpture at the Academy.

In this 60-minute live online workshop, Mr. Krochman will share his creative journey, demonstrate fundamental sculpting skills he uses as part of his creative process, and provide tips and techniques on what it takes to become a professional fine art sculptor.

If you’re interested in any aspect of fine art, sculpting, and creating a career in art and design, you won’t want to miss this exclusive event. Open to all skill ranges.

Steven Krochman - Director of Sculpture

Steven Krochman Director, School of Fine Art Sculpture Steven Krochman, director of sculpture at Academy of Art University, holds a MFA and BFA in sculpture from Boston University and CSU Long Beach. He has over 15 years of professional experience in Fine Arts including work as a Mold Maker at the New England Sculpture Service, Graduate Student Teacher for Life Sculpture, and work on a commissioned project for the Elbert Weinberg Estate. His work has been exhibited in solo, group, and juried exhibitions in galleries at Cal State University at Long Beach, Boston University, Long Beach Arts Association Gallery, Cypress College and Chemers Gallery. He won the Friedman Brothers Fellowship while studying at Boston University.
