Michelle Kennedy is a multimedia journalist, actress, host, and nonfiction writer. She holds a master’s degree in Radio and Television and has more than ten years of experience working as a television news reporter and anchor. Most recently, Kennedy worked at KRON 4 in San Francisco where she shot, wrote, edited, and presented stories live for multiple newscasts. Before KRON, she reported and anchored at KTXL in Sacramento, KNVN in Chico, and KIDK in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Throughout her career in news, Kennedy covered the disappearance and murder of Laci Peterson, hostage standoffs, high-speed chases, the tiger attacks at the San Francisco Zoo, and the elections of Governor Schwarzenegger and President Obama. She’s interviewed celebrities and jumped out of an airplane once on assignment. Kennedy is a regular contributor to The Huffington Post and Mariashriver.com. Her articles on love, attachment, weight, age, and dealing with loss are published on a monthly basis. A member of the Screen Actors Guild, Kennedy starred in Episode 3, of Season 2, of TNT’s Murder in the First in 2015.
