Mike Kadivar is an award-winning Design Engineer and Automation Literacy Advocate with an entrepreneurial portfolio of disruptive technology launches in applied machine learning, virtual manufacturing, robotic automation, and electric vehicle engineering.
He has helped numerous well-known consulting firms with strategic integration of emerging technologies for pervading new forms of process efficiency, and user experiences. Prior to starting the Emerging Technologies Coordinator position at the Academy, Mike was hired by Tesla to solve one-of-a-kind technical challenges in high-volume manufacturing of Model 3 electric vehicles.
He holds a Master of Advanced Studies degree with a focus on Information Autonomy from ETH (Zürich) in Switzerland, as well as a Master of Science degree in Computational Design from Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden. Mike has also been a researcher in Intelligent Robotic Automation at ETH and has won numerous awards and recognitions for eliminating robotic programming. He has lived in Asia, Middle East, Europe, and North America and his work has been exhibited in biennales, galleries, institutions and events around the globe.
