Fall Portfolio Project

Develop a portfolio showing a strong relationship between material, technique, and concept development. In this stimulating and supportive environment, you will not only develop a unique body of work but will also learn and practice how to confidently and professionally present your portfolio. (This course is cross-listed with JEM 699FPP.)

Playing Games in Game Development

Play an array of important game genres both from the tabletop and electronic gaming platforms. Platformers, shooters, deck builders, resource management, action points, combat styles, and more topics are covered. Students will record their gameplay and incorporate commentary and reflections on the overall experience and specific reactions to the game(s).

Game Studio – Game Design (Fall)

The Collaborative Project class models the workflows, pipelines, and interdisciplinary environment of a professional game development studio.
