Content: Content is crucial for an audience. Storytelling is the content that engages and persuades them. It can be written, spoken, illustrated—live or recorded. Today there is no limit.
“There's going to be lots of content. This content is going to be available wherever you are,
on whatever device you want, at whatever time you want.”
—Reed Hastings, Co-founder & CEO, Netflix
Context: Context ensures delivery of the right content, to the right people, at the right time. Context generates greater interest by making the little details clearer. Content is the expression, and context is what influences the manner in which that expression is understood. There is a proper way to convey a story or experience, and understanding context means knowing just how to present it.
Conversion: Good Content + the right Context = a Conversion. Delivery of the right content with the appropriate context gives the audience just what it wanted. This is the end game: Get the content in the right context to increase relevant conversions…in other words, convince your audience to respond in the way you’ve intended.
These are just the basics you’ll learn to do well in our School of Communications & Media Technologies.
