Art Director

The art director supervises a team of graphic designers, photographers, illustrators, production artists and creative freelancers. They also collaborate with members of the marketing or media buying team to develop strategies for advertising campaigns. Many art directors are also graphic designers, which helps them take the lead in creating marketing and promotional pieces, including print, online, mobile, television and radio advertisements, collateral materials; and internal and external corporate publications.

Copywriters are responsible for the text on brochures, billboards, websites, emails, advertisements, catalogs, and more. While words are the main output of a copywriter, writing isn't necessarily what they spend most of our time doing. They often become mini-experts in different topics, as they do plenty of research, thinking, tweaking and formatting, and more to craft the perfect ad content. They also edit, proofread, interview, plan and implement marketing campaigns, source images and even manage projects.

Production Artist

A successful production artist must possess a mix of both creative and technical skills. They must be able to work quickly but also remain extremely detail-oriented. Strong typographic and layout skills, strict attention to detail, and outstanding organizational, project management, file-organization and archiving skills are a must. The most common duty for a production artist is preflight formatting, in addition to collecting, processing, checking, and uploading files.

Account Executive

Perhaps the most important part of what an Account Executive does is ensuring that campaign strategies are implemented on time and within budget, and adjusting or redirecting strategies as needed.
