Facilities

The Acting facilities at the Academy are top-notch for the specific training environment every actor dreams of. We offer a 200-seat main stage theater at 620 Sutter Street (in the heart of San Francisco’s performance district) and two secondary performance spaces at other Academy campus buildings. You’ll have access to a fully equipped acting studio, three sound stages, a voiceover studio, and an ADR room—all designed to prepare you for a career as a professional actor.

Military & Veterans Education

Academy of Art University is authorized by the Department of Veterans Affairs to certify students enrolled in our degree programs for benefits under Chapter 30 (Montgomery GI Bill® – Active Duty and Selected Reserve); Chapter 33 (Post 9/11 GI Bill and the Fry Scholarship); Chapter 31 (Vocational Rehabilitation); Chapter 35 (Veteran’s Spouses or Dependents); Chapter 1606 (Montgomery GI Bill – Selected Reserve); and Chapter 1607 (Reserve Educational Assistance Program). The Department of Veterans Affairs determines eligibility and chapter.
