The Acting facilities at the Academy are top-notch for the specific training environment every actor dreams of. We offer a 200-seat main stage theater at 620 Sutter Street (in the heart of San Francisco’s performance district) and two secondary performance spaces at other Academy campus buildings. You’ll have access to a fully equipped acting studio, three sound stages, a voiceover studio, and an ADR room—all designed to prepare you for a career as a professional actor.

Academy of Art University is excited to announce our new “Housing Short Stay Program,” which provides housing options for the Spring 2021 semester. Beginning in March and running through May, Academy students can stay from one to three months at The Commodore, our beautiful student residence hall at 825 Sutter St. in San Francisco.
