Charlene Modena received her MA in Metal Arts from San Francisco State University and MFA in Sculpture from Academy of Art University. She has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions throughout the world, including the American Institute of Architects, the University of Guanajuato (Mexico), the Butler Museum, Elements Gallery, Velvet da Vinci Gallery, the Biennale Internationale-Limoges (France), and the Ueno Royal Museum (Tokyo).

A Timeline: Major Exhibition to Feature International Jewelry Designers at Academy of Art University

Academy of Art University will host a major international Jewelry and Metal Arts exhibit “A Timeline” from Oct 28th to Nov 21st at the Atelier Gallery in San Francisco, CA. It will display an array of wearable and decorative art from the Academy’s top students, alumni, and faculty at the School of Jewelry & Metal Arts, along with prominent guest artists from Hsuan Chuang University, a private Buddhist university in Taiwan.
