Environmental Control Systems

Learn the fundamental concepts of heating, cooling, plumbing, and ventilation in buildings to conserve our valuable natural resources. You’ll integrate environmental control systems with architectural design to increase human comfort and make evidence-based decisions using building performance simulation tools. Cosplay

Research, design, and build a set of ears or horns for entertainment or cosplay use. You will develop creative and technical skills in prop fabrication, with an emphasis on creative problem-solving, craftsmanship, material exploration, and professional presentation.

Ideation Techniques

The art of idea creation. Develop compelling concepts as you explore the purposes, possibilities, and practices to create ads and products.

Art History Thesis – Modern and Contemporary

Write an original thesis on the art/architecture (or design) of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. You will independently craft a scholarly idea/argument on a subject/theme of your choice (from Impressionism to modernism and/or postmodernism), before writing a final thesis on the same topic with the support of a specialist advisor.

Thesis Intensive

Focus on the research, concepts, and imagery for your personal project in this intensive thesis course. You will receive individualized instruction, and engage in group critique as you advance your thesis research and add to your project portfolio.
